Somewhat related, I was also having a problem where occasionally a random letter would get thrown in while I am typing. Since the laptop is very new, and I was using the external keyboard fine with my other laptop, it definitely seems like a Windows 7 issue, not a problem with either keyboard. This has happened both on an external keyboard and the one on my laptop (Dell Latitude E5400). So far, the key that gets "stuck" always is a functional key, like Backspace or Alt or an arrow. I've been having a similar problem, but I'm also not using macros, nor a Microsoft keyboard.
